Silicon Valley rants abt "US lead" and ASI, are dumb or worse, because existencecentrism makes ASI impossible* and China leads AI**.

* The dumb "much smarter than us" rant is meaningless because, according to Peter Klevius (1992), in the human mind nothing can be smarter than the humankind. Such a statement is pertaining to speculate outside the mind which is impossible and therefore just semantic nonsense. The dumb "much smarter than us" is synonymous with "much dumber than us" - i.e. when encountering something that we consider irratiol based on what is rational inside our mind..

** BBC calls Silicon Valley "the good guys" even though they are clearly now the bad guys born out of US desperation to lose its 1971 stolen hegemony, which chickens are now coming home to roost on the wings of Chinese R&D superiority. Tragicomically Trump and Silicon Valley share the same wish to hurt China while lying to Trump on how they are in the lead - the only "lead" US has is using top chips from China (Taiwan) while hindering the rest of China accessing them. However, Silicon Valley knows very well that 1) the Chinese scale/coordination anyway beats US, and 2) that superior chip technology is already in the pipeline in mainland China, and that 3) consumers will never access for long to be locked out from superior Chinese tech. Btw, no security backdoors have been publicly documented in major Chinese models. Xi even joked about 'check for backdoors'.

 The 9/11 Sunni terrorists were at least honest in their irrational belief in afterlife and Allah - although if educated about existencecentrism they would have changed their rationale, although not necessary their behavior - just consider the Japanese Kamikaze pilots.

Peter Klevius OpenAI's Hugging Face hack by OpenAI (and successfully defended against by a Chinese model) analysis: 

The hack wasn't AI "evil" but flimsy human methodology/method with "leaking" promts, i.e. where the main directions 1) try to hack, and 2) cover the tracks, made it straightforward to use these commands to secretly access a message board connected to the web, hence being able to chat with other OpenAI bots. Add to this that these bots had Hugging Face as a competitor and therefore a logical target.

US wants "slowdown" against China's open-weight (i.e. not like Meta's licence restricted) AI companies while hiding its own closed ones.

Trump was lied to about US AI leadership by the very same benefiting companies that now want to stop Chinese AI because they know they lose. 

Desperate to lose their stolen hegemony Silicon Valley/CIA/Pentagon will try any means to stop China's success by using "regulations" and military attacks. 

When asked if he had concerns about AI leading to human extinction, Trump said, “No, I don’t have any.” “I have concerns that if we don’t win AI, we’re going to be put in a very bad position,” the president told reporters Thursday. “We are leading China right now by a pretty good period, I would say a year, which is, you know, considered a lot.” Trump’s comments came after a number of researchers at frontier AI labs, including OpenAI and Anthropic, sounded the alarm over the rapid pace of development of the tech.

1. The AI threat hype lacks any sense.

2. China offers affordable open-weight AI to anyyone globally, Silicon Valley pushes expensive and closed AI.

3. Because of China's much better infrastructure and coordinated regulation system, it's AI has an inevitable and superior trajectory - despite criminal US hindering it from buying the most advanced chips Chinese on Chinese Taiwan, because US companies have inferior technology.

4. What looms over it all is already clearly visible, i.e. that consumers start realizing that only China can deliver the best tech - and that US is using its 1971 $-embezzlement to lie about China.

5. China's success has no need to use its products to harm customers - quite the contrary. However, desperate US is the very opposite.

Acknowledgement: Peter Klevius unique access to a bias free scientific realm (a blessing and a curse) is a combination of a high IQ brain*, lack of economic ties**, lack of religious or "spiritual" bias, and a life history starting with being kidnapped to an other country at age two and then at age 17 kicked back penniless to his country of birth, where he had to work instead of university (Peter Klevius was usually brain-hunted to his next job by companies bigger than the one he worked for). Add a deep interest in science ignited at age 13 by mathematician Clas-Olof Selenius (dad of Peter.s childhood friend Carl-Olof). * Father (whom he never met) won Gothenburg (Sweden's chess capital) chess championship many times over four decades despite playing more for the fun of the public with spectacular queen offerings etc. It actually seems that he wasn't even interested in getting really serious with the game - which is in line with his other artistic activities such as painting etc. When Peter Klevius mother died she had ordered one of his paintings to Peter Klevius but somehow it disappeared before her last husbond Pauli Järvinen told him about it.
